Long term learning, mentoring and support
We love making sure you are supported in your work long after your course has ended. It’s a huge passion of ours and a massive part of why the Perinatal Academy was birthed in the first place!
The Perinatal Collective is a space where we are chatting most days, we ask questions, share successes and ask for advice. Our community is amazing and so valuable. We are so proud of what we are building together.
We host extra workshops, to compliment our core learning, time to really deep dive into all the subjects we are passionate about. You will also find updates on maternity policies and reports, business mentoring, monthly get togethers and more in depth support if you need it!
We work with some AMAZING people, such as Mars Lord, Emma Ashworth, plus the team at The Queer Birth Club, Neurodivergent Birth and The Mindful Breastfeeding School amongst others.
You will also have access to further business and marketing support, recorded workshops on SEO, Blogging, PR, checklists for business set up and so much more.
There is also a whole heap of resources for your Doula work, Antenatal teaching, and your own personal development.
We’re alongside you as you launch your first course, as you search for your venue, and how to make your space feel right.
For our Doulas we’re with you as you start to walk alongside the parents you support to be a soundboard for you, plus we give you templates for all the important documents you might need for your Doula business.
Basically we are here for ongoing mentoring and support, it’s uplifting, constructive and vital honestly! We are a family, growing all the time and we absolutely love our birth community!
Membership to The Perinatal Collective is included in your investment for the first 12 months, then if you want to stay with us a small admin fee will apply.
Welcome to The Perinatal Collective!…
Birthing your own business…
Our founder Sam leads our business & marketing training. She has over 20 years experience in branding, marketing and sales working across many national publications and brands including Pampers, Boots, The Co-op and many many more.
Sam has used this marketing and branding background to become an expert in finding expectant and new parents where they're at using social media, hyper-local advertising, and hosting in-person community events.
Graduating in antenatal education in 2021 Sam set up her own successful independent antenatal business, which regularly achieves sold-out courses and receives consistent midwife recommendations and five star reviews from her pregnant clients. She added Doula services to her business last year.
Sam will be coaching you on how you can set up your new business, plus you will receive digital marketing training from The Business of Babies so you can achieve the same, with continued support long after graduation.
We are so passionate about you knowing you have expert support on hand, so even though you are self employed you never feel like you are going it alone!
