POSTNATAL DOULA TRAINING
BECOMING A POSTNATAL DOULA
This is for those of you who feel called to walk alongside families in the raw, beautiful, intense weeks after birth. If you’ve got a fire in your belly to support new parents as they find their feet, practically, emotionally, and everything in between, then our Postnatal Doula training is made for you.
We’ve created a course that’s thoughtful, inclusive, and grounded in the real life of postnatal care. You’ll learn what it actually looks like to show up for families in those early weeks, from hands-on help to emotional support, feeding guidance to holding space for the messy middle of postpartum.
This isn’t just about skills (though you’ll get plenty of those), it’s about helping you figure out what kind of Postnatal Doula you want to be. We’ll talk about rest, nourishment, the mental load, identity shifts, and what it means to care for the whole family, while keeping your own boundaries in place too.
There’s business support baked in from the start, we cover contracts, pricing, shared care, realistic working patterns and how to grow your postnatal work into something sustainable. You’ll also be part of The Perinatal Collective our supportive community where you’ll get mentorship, workshops, real-time advice and a crew that’s got your back.
There are two ways to become a Postnatal Doula with us. You can join us in person for 3 days or you can learn and be guided online.
You don’t need to come in with it all figured out. We already believe you’ve got the heart of a Doula, we’re just here to help you build the confidence, tools and support you need to begin.
We’d love to welcome you!
