Hi, I’m Sam

Founder of The Perinatal Academy. This all began in 2021 when I left a 22 year media career to retrain as an Antenatal Educator after the birth of my daughter changed everything for me!

I wasn’t brave enough to go it alone initially which is why I joined a franchise. In a very tiny nutshell that did NOT work for me for many different reasons, but I would never change it for a second as it is why The Perinatal Academy exists!

I wanted to create the journey I wish I had. Deep, inclusive learning, evidence based, academic, not overwhelming but also with heaps of lived experience.
And so much support in setting up your own business long after the course ends.

So here we are. And my goodness, it is incredible here 💛

I have the best team (honestly, see below) each one working with parents day in and day out, with some of the leading voices in the UK birth world. I have trained over 100 birth workers so far, wow wow wow, and that number is growing. We all live and breathe it. All of us obsessed with birth and everything it brings!

I know what it feels like to be on the edge of making a huge life change to do something you love. Something to be proud of. I'm passionate about supporting you as you support parents.

We don't tell you to just manifest your birth business. Or give you just enough to get by teaching classes. We have tried and tested launch strategies, a full business course you get immediate access to, and step by step guidance on everything. Because launching and building your business can be the hardest part and we have loads of experience to help you through it.
