FOUNDATION LIVE
DOULA TRAINING
This pathway is our most in-depth training, all live online, covering everything from the basics of Doula support to advanced skills for helping families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. It’s a complete package, perfect for building confidence, knowledge, and the practical skills you’ll need to support families.
You already have the heart of a Doula we just help you hone the skills. You’ll focus on learning the hands-on care that Doulas provide, helping families during pregnancy, labour, birth, and beyond. We give you space to explore what Doula work looks like for you, and only you. How to tap into your instincts, and feel confident that you are enough.
We’ll also be covering the practicalities of Doula life, being on call, contracts, sharing care, what to charge and of course, how to seed, grow and flourish your Doula business. It has to work for you long term, which is why we are alongside you long after the course ends.
Everyone gets mentored through their first birth and then a minimum of 12 months, you join the Perinatal Collective our family of birth workers all supporting each other day in and day out, with further learning, personal and professional development, socials and more!
Our training is live online with access to vital workshops such as Cultural Safety with Mars Lord, supporting Queer Birth with AJ Silver, Inclusivity and Consent and Advocacy with Emma Ashworth.
All our Doula courses include an in person training day. This is a chance to get hands on with the more practical elements of being a Doula, meet other Doulas on your course, enjoy discussions and some delicious foods and treats - currently held in Wood Green, North London. This is an optional day but we would love you to attend!
